I'm in the restoration business. Aramsco was contacted by me. Comfor a flooring removal machine's purchase. They arranged financing through marlin, in what they called a reasonable financing contract. In my eagerness to purchase the machine, I didn't read the whole contract. Like so many posts here, I discovered I was being billed for insurance (which covers them only, at an outrageous rate of 75% (annualized) of their monthly payment. They added taxes fees for which they refused to provide proof of payment, and taxes on the insurance fee. The State of Florida imposed the tangible taxes on the equipment as well, as I couldn't prove they made the payment . I tried to get this resolved over two months, with no success. They registered a UCC-1 form (i. e. lien) with the State of Florida, to make sure that the machine will be compensated for before discharge. But they filed the form that they claim the rights to all invoices generated by my company. As a result, we cannot use capital funding companies to buy our invoices, to keep enough cash flow to meet our obligations: (such as the payment of payroll & the monthly rental fee). They are completely uncooperative, even though they've provided letters of subordination to other companies in the past for the purpose of bill factoring. Buyer beware! Exhaust prior to engaging this provider all avenues to obtain funds. The flooring system first price: $35,000. Payments year-to-date (excluding this month, which we may not be able to cover ) $29,432. 24. Pay off figure now: $20,839. 10. Complete $50,271. 34. Tony Soprano could not make this profit if he attempted. He can learn a great deal from Marlin!
I'm not certain where to begin and I understand I'm likely to run out of space. I worked with Jennifer Patton and she ROCKS! She had been with. Definitely the worst I've ever dealt with. hands down. The customer Service is awful, only setting up my accounts and receiving the equipment financed was terrible and then they took about 3 weeks to get everything squared away with all the gear makers. I went with the 12 month funding to save some money on"interest" Payments were put to be $9xx. Xx and on the payment. And then out of the blue, I get a call saying they awakened and my payment went to be a tiny bit longer. So I am unhappy at this time already. First payment comes around and I got charged $1,2xx. Nearly $300 more for a fee that is hidden, xx. 2nd month comes around, wasn't notified that a payment was being processed, but partially my own fault since the funds were not available, they called me regarding the situation and got it handled, then she informs me, since there's a late charge, we will now be charging you 1,1xx. Xx for your payment. One thing after another. The company is a scam. Will be paying off them and making sure to receive my review out there and warn some other businesses who will be looking for equipment funding. Business is a joke.

Generally delighted with your service but was frustrated at the quantity of time it took to lately drop an application that I made for a client of mine to lease purchase a piano. I had been told I would get an answer by noon on Thursday April 5, 2018. I tried to achieve your representative Friday and Thursday April 5 April 6 with no touch. I talked to him April 8 and was informed that he had been out of the workplace. He didn't inform me that he would be outside. I was advised that the decline was due to tax exemptions of that the validity is questioned by me.
Over the past 2 years, I've received equipment loans from a partner source of Funding Stream (Marlin Finance). I'd discovered them to be just and reasonable when purchasing new gear. Other"working capital" companies I'd worked together with charged outrageous fees (over 30 percent ) which hurt my company until I paid off them. With the extra capital I was able to obtain from Funding Stream, I am in a position to hire an employee to take over operations management. This may enable my earnings to grow and, finally, contribute to greater business.

The Customer Service is horrible. First of all it's not possible to talk to a human being, you call and leave messages NO RESPONSE. Send an email it takes at least 72 hours prior to getting a response. Then they send a reply from a email that sends an automated response that states it will be 72 hours before they reply. I have been trying to acquire the MyMarlin account setup so I can see my invoices for more than a month with no gratification. JUST HORRIBLE! But have a past due bill and they'll hunt you down.
I'm very happy with Marlin Bank and their Funding Stream process. I had a committed rep (Patrick) most of the way and frankly I couldn't be happier just how everything was. Patrick was there every step along the way! Great job! Call or I have tried multiple times to have our account updated/corrected and finally had to get our vendor. The incorrect lease was eliminated from our accounts and it's taken months (since Feb) to get this taken care of and remains in the process of being repaired. Of course now I get calls and the week before. Trying to be patient as Marlin gets this error but I want to go back to lease and be done with this. Really don't know why it's taking this long to get adjusted.
I would have received from the business I'd have taken out a loan and purchased my own machine rather than need to deal with them, if I'd known the kind of service. They've an extremely slow review procedure; I had less problems purchasing a $40,000 car than I did a 4,000 utilized copier. Their customer service is dreadful. I received mails regarding invoicing, I asked a call back and never received any calls and would acquire mails that were rude and condescending back.

It appears there's not any grace period for invoices being paid. I realize you want to keep things present but we have several properties and email is slow to get to the office of the Controller. I think as long as we are a customer in good standing one missed cycle shouldn't deserve then and a late fee tax on that. And when was it ok to charge tax? Also, I'm doing y'a service and Trustpilot needs me to accept their own terms and conditions.

Everything seemed simple and easy. The I got the bill, I was charged on the equipment for Insurance. I wasn't advised that insurance was needed. As soon as I tried to contact via email I did not get a response. Ever since then, I sent the information in using a payment have placed insurance on the gear and deducted the insurance payment from the announcement. I believe there was a bit more communication required to the problem.
Very hard to get them to send the agreement with interest and terms stated and not 100% clear about fees such as the initial contract setting up fee. I've requested my arrangements occasions and they have not sent into us and it has been around a year to get you personally and then asked again and it's been over 2 months. Since the invoices are extremely uncertain to what my percentage speed is, I needed them. It doesn't state.

It was a smooth and effortless process financing our waste oil burner. Simple to get funding, but it is as the Bible requires it. "usury" for certain. They haven't gotten 1 bill correct. They were nice enough to work for them fixed but there is NO grace period. After waiting a few days to make a correction, Thus I could cover on line, once I circled back I ended up paying literally 2 day later due date and the fee has been $185!
